Are you buying genuine Hoodia?
Unfortunately buying genuine South African Hoodia Gordonii can be a bit of a minefield. A lot of products sold as Hoodia may be fake and only contain miniscule amounts or use fillers and binders, which will be useless for weight loss.
One way of telling is by the price, pure Hoodia is expensive to harvest, maintain and import from South Africa so if the price is cheap, it is unlikely that you are getting genuine Hoodia Gordonii.
Here is our checklist of things to look out for when buying Hoodia -

Make sure the ingredients on the bottle state 100% Hoodia Gordonii, and nothing else.

A CITES certificate should be available, this confirms proof of origin and authenticity of the product.

Make sure the company name on all of the certificates matches the name of the company you are buying from.

Look to see if the Hoodia has been Steam dried before encapsulation, this will remove any harmful bacteria.

Go for a minimum of 300mg of Hoodia per capsule, anything less and it is considered to be a waste of money.
